Notable Christian Comics Series
"Editorial Vida Abundante" comics

These comics were produced and published in Mexico from 1988 to 1990 by Editorial Vida Abundante. All were 32 pages in black-and-white line and wash tones with color covers. They were published in Spanish only.
Spanish Terms:

'historieta' = 'comic'

'historietas cristianas' or 'cómics cristianos' = 'Christian comics'

Dan Nase Saldaña, the Gerente General (General Manager) of the project, reported in February 2002: "Literally hundreds of thousands of all these comics were distributed by missionary organisations that purchased them for distribution throughout Latin America."

Several years ago the rights and production materials for the entire line of Editorial Vida Abundante comics were turned over to Misión Latinoamericana de México (MILAMEX) in Mexico City.
